1 Hour Class Overview: Level 1 (Intro to screen printing)

  • Intro to Screen Printing Press

  • Learning the tools of the trade

  • Learning basic terminology

  • Basic on press operating steps and processees

  • How to hold a squeegee (angles/pressure)

  • Printing techniques (Pushing Vs Pulling)

  • Loading and unloading garments

  • Assisting with printing

2 Hour Class Overview: Level 2 (On press training)

  • Intro to machine knobs and functions

  • Setting up press/ Adjusting pallets

  • Registering your screen on your own

  • Intro to microregistration for multi color jobs

  • Dialing in your squeegee form and stance

  • Intro to printing on dark garments

  • Intro to using Flash Dryer and Conveyor

3 Hour Class Overview: Level 3 (Pre and Post production)

  • Setting up from start to finish

  • Taping your screen

  • Registering your screen

  • Using microregistration

  • Applying Ink/ Mixing Ink

  • Applying pallet/platen tape

  • Applying adhesive to pallets/platens

  • Dialing in your squeegee form and stance

  • Flash Dryer / Conveyor Dryer curing temperatures + dwell times

  • Going over curing temps relative to inks and garments

  • Safety Tips/ Shop habbits

  • Tearing down and clean up

  • Shutting Down

  • Dos and Dont’s
